Emerging Communities Energy Efficiency Program

The Benefits

free energy audit of your business

free energy efficient lighting retrofits

free HVAC diagnostics and tuneups

free programmable thermostats

rebates for taking additional energy efficiency measures

FCI cares about the economic health of the communities in which it serves and wants to see its neighboring businesses thrive. The California Public Utilities Commission has authorized FCI as a program administrator for the Emerging Communities Energy Efficiency Program (ECEEP) to provide qualifying businesses with rebates, retrofits, and other energy efficiency measures.

To participate, a business must be a Southern California Edison small business customer with < 100 kW demand on GS-1 or GS-2 rate schedule. Rebate funds are limited! If you know of a business that could benefit from lower energy bills with minimal investment, let us know!

No Upfront Money Required!

In order to assure businesses can take full advantage of this energy efficiency program, FCI will install the required qualifying energy efficient equipment at no cost to the customer. This allows customers to benefit from installed energy efficient measures in which they may not otherwise be able to invest. Customers immediately benefit from lower energy bills.

The Program

FCI is offering, under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission, a turnkey program to provide no-cost, comprehensive energy audits and no-cost energy efficient retrofits for small to medium sized business customers in emerging communities. There are several things that make FCI's program especially geared to the needs of businesses in our communities:

1

FCI has designed the energy surveys to find efficient measures that will have the most financial benefit for businesses with an emphasis on low cost lighting retrofits and HVAC diagnostics and tuneups.

2

FCI will provide direct install of energy efficient components at no cost to customers, removing the restrictive upfront investment that prevents some businesses from participating.

3

FCI is employing only highly-trained contractors who are familiar with our communities. They will be using the latest state-of-the-art technology to assure customers are satisfied with their new energy equipment and the savings it brings them.

4

FCI will help customers complete all state-required forms, find financing for additional, non-covered energy efficient equipment, and coordinate with other programs for which the customer might qualify.
