Emerging Communities Energy Efficiency Program The Benefits
FCI cares about the economic health of the communities in which it serves and wants to see its neighboring businesses thrive. The California Public Utilities Commission has authorized FCI as a program administrator for the Emerging Communities Energy Efficiency Program (ECEEP) to provide qualifying businesses with rebates, retrofits, and other energy efficiency measures. To participate, a business must be a Southern California Edison small business customer with < 100 kW demand on GS-1 or GS-2 rate schedule. Rebate funds are limited! If you know of a business that could benefit from lower energy bills with minimal investment, let us know! No Upfront Money Required! In order to assure businesses can take full advantage of this energy efficiency program, FCI will install the required qualifying energy efficient equipment at no cost to the customer. This allows customers to benefit from installed energy efficient measures in which they may not otherwise be able to invest. Customers immediately benefit from lower energy bills. The ProgramFCI is offering, under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission, a turnkey program to provide no-cost, comprehensive energy audits and no-cost energy efficient retrofits for small to medium sized business customers in emerging communities. There are several things that make FCI's program especially geared to the needs of businesses in our communities:
Our Objectives The ultimate objective of FCI's Emerging Communities Energy Efficiency Program is to increase energy conservation in a way that benefits the economic health of businesses within our emerging communities. Specifically, we have committed to helping local small to medium businesses retrofit their operations for the most efficiency and the most payback. Our firm commitment to our community is shown in the following chart which lists the services we expect to perform in the 2004-2005 program year. Funds are limited, so we are encouraging businesses to take advantage of this opportunity as soon as possible!
